Remember to check the departure time of your flight. Please arrive at the Finistair offices or Belle-Ile en Mer terminal 45 minutes before your flight's departure time.

For connecting flights, it's a 10-minute walk to the main terminal of Brest airport.

As operations are subject to weather conditions, flight times may be altered or flights cancelled. Do not hesitate to contact us 24 hours before your trip.

CHILDREN / FAMILY
Accompanied by a baby
During the journey, a baby must always be accompanied by an independent passenger of legal age (exception: the accompanying adult may be aged under 18 if it is the father, mother or legal guardian).

A passenger may only accompany one baby. A 2nd accompanying person is therefore required to travel with 2 babies.

A folding pushchair, bassinet or car seat are permitted.
PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Finistair is organised to accommodate passengers with reduced mobility. To ensure that assistance is adapted to their needs, disabled passengers and passengers with reduced mobility are asked to indicate their requirements when booking.
Travelling in a wheelchair
You use a wheelchair?
When making your reservation, you must specify:
  • the type of wheelchair you have: electric/manual, folding/non-folding,
  • its weight and complete dimensions when folded in the following order: length x width x height,
  • lthe type of battery for electric wheelchairs (dry or wet).

Transport of your personal wheelchair is free of charge.
ANIMALS

If you've decided to take a plane with your pet, you'll need to prepare his journey carefully. Here are a few tips to help your pet travel in the best possible conditions.
You are flying with your pet (dog, cat)
1 - Notify us of the presence of your pet when booking your flight: 
  • The number of pets allowed on a flight is limited. We advise you to book your ticket as early as possible.
  • Your pet's health record must be up to date.
  • If your pet is particularly fearful, nervous or sensitive to motion sickness, consult your vet, who will prescribe a suitable sedative if necessary.

2 - Your pet will be travelling in the cabin
  • The dog must be kept on a lead, and the seat allocated to the passenger accompanied by his dog will be at the rear of the aircraft.
  • Dogs must be muzzled or transported in a cage or bag.
  • Cats must be transported in a closed, ventilated, small plastic cage or bag.

3 - Transporting animals other than dogs and cats
  • If you wish to travel with small birds (parakeets, canaries, etc.), they must be in a small cage.
  • Small rodents (hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.) and animals such as tortoises and fish are also allowed on board, in a small cage or suitable container.

As a general rule, remember to indicate the presence of an animal when making your reservation.
BAGGAGE

You may carry a small camera or film camera, a pair of binoculars, a handbag, a pouch, a document holder, a switched-off laptop, a coat and an umbrella in the cabin.

If you are carrying heavy or bulky items, or a lot of baggage, you must indicate this when you make your booking. The size of the holds limits the size and/or weight of certain objects. Please indicate the dimensions and weight of these items when booking. Excess baggage may be transported on the next rotation, if immediate transport is not possible.

Items transported must be properly packed.

Fare: baggage allowance up to 12 kg. Above 12 kg, please contact us.
Transporting liquids
Following the introduction of security measures on liquids in the cabin, we recommend that you avoid carrying any liquids in your hand baggage.
If you still wish to bring certain liquid products with you, they should be presented in a closed transparent plastic bag measuring approximately 20 cm by 20 cm, and your bottles and tubes should not exceed 100 ml each.

Decision no. 06-1609 of 2 November 2006 on prohibited articles and products subject to cabin restrictions.
 
Dangerous goods
Air transport regulations impose strict rules for everyone's safety. This website does not provide all the details of these constraints. However, the first thing to remember is:
Items prohibited in the cabin
Firearms
They may be used in war or defence, for shooting, fairs, hunting, exhibitions, historical purposes or as collectors' items, even if they are not subject to authorisation. They also include objects that can be assimilated to weapons: starter pistols, rocket launchers, slaughter pistols, self-defence rifles with rubber bullets. Spare parts and ammunition for these weapons are also subject to the ban.
Objects prohibited in the hold
Dangerous substances and materials
These include detonating and deflagrating substances (firecrackers, fireworks, detonators, ammunition, etc.), flammable materials (petrol, paints, etc.), dangerous chemicals, gases and self-defence equipment that emits irritating, stinging or tear-producing gases.
